Celebrating our 35th birthday we once again joined the Cortina MkI Owners Club and the Anglia 105e Owners Club for our annual National Rallies at the Stratford Upon Avon Racourse. It certainly wasn’t the driest of events but spirits were not at all dampened and great time was had by all.

“The Best Weekend of the Year” got off to a cracking start with what will forever be known as the Marshmallow Incident.

The ride out on Saturday to the Wythall Transport Museum via “The View” got off to a very wet start with rain that was to go between light drizzle to very heavy all day long.

First stop, a visit to The View……

….and on to the transport museum.

It was a better day weather wise for the main show day on Sunday but there were still a few showers around.

The Mark Blows Memorial Trophy

Ian Samuels

Following the very sad loss of founder club member Mark Blows earlier this year, fellow club founder Pete Pascoe introduced our new trophy in Mark’s memory, to be awarded annually to the “Club Member of the Year”

Our thanks to everyone who came along and braved the weather, you’ve all helped make another “Best Weekend of the year”. See you next year!
