Where and when is the National Rally?
The 2025 National Rally takes place with both the MkI Cortina Owners Club, the 105E Anglia Owners Club, and new for 2025, with the Lotus Cortina Register too. The rally will be at the Stratford Upon Avon Racecourse from lunchtime on Friday 1st August through to Sunday 3rd August, the Sunday being the main show day. Program your Satnavs to head for CV37 9SE.
Do I need to book?
No, you can just turn up.
How much does it cost?
Entry is free if you come along in a MkI, MkII Cortina, 105E Anglia or Lotus Cortina/Cortina Lotus. It’s £5 per car if you don’t.
After being greeted at the main entrance please drive carefully to the gazebo at the gate to our club area to sign in and collect your voting forms. You’ll then be guided to your parking spot on the show field.
I’m not a MkIIOC member, can I still come along?
Absolutely, we’d love to see you. We’d love to see your MkII as well if you want to bring that along too!
Will the club shops be open?
Both the spares and merch shops will be open on Sunday from 11am to 2pm in our marquee area but do remember they won’t be able to take everything up to Stratford. Don’t risk being disappointed, if there is something in particular you’re after you’ll need to get your orders in to Lynn & Pete (for spares – 07467 108 645) and to Chris (for merch – 07544 369 179) by Friday
25th July.
Please also note the spares shop will be closed for our annual stock take after the National Rally until Monday 18th August.
Will there be an autojumble too?
Yes! The autojumble and trader area has moved this year to the rear of the show area to be sited along the hedge.
Can I sell spares?
Putting a few MkII related parts out in front of your car in the show area is absolutely fine but you will be directed to the autojumble area if you have a lot for sale. Pitches are available from £20 upwards (full list of charges attached).
Is there a road run this year?
We shall be leaving the racecourse at 10.30am on Saturday for a ride out the Hook Norton Brewery with the opportunity to stop at Caffeine & Machine on the way back to the racecourse. Lunch will be available but you will need to book with the brewery for this.
Can I camp?
Camping is available on site at £15 for one night (Friday or Saturday) or £25 for both.
Can I bring my dog too?
No problem, but please keep them on a lead at all times and be sure to clear up after them!
Is there food and drink available on site?
Event catering will be available through the day on Saturday and Sunday with free food on Saturday evening. You’ll find this the other side of the MkIOC area.
Can I help?
Yes please, we’d love you to give us a hand! If you can spare a little time to help over the weekend to help with looking after the front entrance, perhaps some marshalling or even assisting with the tear down Sunday after the prize giving, please do speak to one of our committee members.
Thanks everyone, have a great weekend!
The Committee.
